Westbridge ("we," "our," "us") operates the cloud-based business management platform available at westbridge.gy and app.westbridge.gy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our services.
1. Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly:
- Account information (company name, email address, password)
- Billing information (processed securely through 2Checkout — we do not store card numbers)
- Business data you enter into the platform (invoices, contacts, payroll records, inventory)
- Communications you send to our support team
We also collect information automatically:
- Usage logs (pages visited, features used, timestamps)
- Technical data (IP address, browser type, device type)
- Error reports and performance data
2. How We Use Your Information
- To provide, maintain, and improve the Westbridge platform
- To process payments and manage your subscription
- To send transactional emails (receipts, password resets, platform notifications)
- To provide customer support
- To comply with legal obligations under Guyanese law
We do not sell your data to third parties. We do not use your business data for advertising.
3. Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored on servers located in the United States (Render.com infrastructure). We use encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest. We perform nightly encrypted backups stored on Backblaze B2.
Each tenant's data is isolated in a separate database. No tenant can access another tenant's data.
We implement industry-standard security practices including access controls, audit logging, and regular security reviews.
4. Data Retention
We retain your account data for as long as your subscription is active. Upon cancellation, your data is retained for 30 days to allow export, then permanently deleted. Backup copies are purged within 90 days of deletion.
5. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services which may process your data:
- 2Checkout (Verifone) — payment processing
- Render.com — cloud hosting infrastructure
- Backblaze B2 — encrypted backup storage
- Resend — transactional email delivery
- Sentry — anonymized error tracking
- Cloudflare — DNS, CDN, and DDoS protection
6. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access a copy of your data at any time from within your platform
- Export your data in standard formats (CSV, PDF)
- Request deletion of your account and data
- Correct inaccurate information

7. Cookies
We use essential session cookies to keep you logged in to the platform. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies. The marketing site (westbridge.gy) does not set any cookies.
8. Children's Privacy
Westbridge is a business platform intended for use by individuals 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance.
